Ben Crawford is an experienced Director/Chief Executive Officer with deep experience leading Intellectual Property businesses and a demonstrated history of scaling up online technology and media companies. Ben drives accelerated and profitable growth trajectories through a blend of organic growth and acquisitions. He has a truly global perspective, having lived in seven countries and overseen businesses servicing customers in almost every country in the world.

Ben is well-known for his numerous thought-leading publications and speaking engagements, from Forbes, to the BBC and CNBC, to the World Economic Forum.

Ben joined the British corporate domain name registrar and IP consultancy Com Laude as CEO, Director and investor in June 2024. In September 2025 Com Laude announced the acquisitions of FairWinds and Markmonitor – both US companies – driving the enlarged group to an enterprise value of over $450 million.

The enlarged company – Markmonitor Group - services hundreds of IP law firms globally, as well as thousands of in-house IP teams, including most of the largest companies in the world. As well as being the global leader in customer satisfaction for domain portfolio management, Markmonitor Group is rolling out new products for IP teams in AI, online brand protection, new Top-Level Domains, cyber-security, and compliance, among other areas.
