Dr Alexandra von Westernhagen is a Brussels, London and Berlin-based lawyer, speaker, and strategic adviser specialising in human-centred business regulation, AI governance, and intellectual property in a global context. With over 20 years of experience across the EU and UK, she advises companies, institutions, and professionals on how emerging technologies, including AI, reshape legal frameworks, governance choices, and market strategy. Alexandra is Vice Chair of the European Board of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL) and Chair of its Global Education Committee, and she regularly speaks and trains internationally on AI, digital regulation, IP, sustainability, and responsible innovation.
