Dr. Krissada Jutimongkonkul

Dr. Krissada Jutimongkonkul is a Thai academic and innovation finance specialist with extensive expertise in intellectual property (IP) valuation, innovation management, and strategic business transformation. He currently serves as a full-time lecturer, Program Chair of Master Degree in Innovation Management (Included Special field in Intellectual Property Management Program), and Head of the Innovation Valuation and Advisory Center (IVAC) at the Graduate School of Management and Innovation, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

Dr. Krissada holds a Ph.D. in Technopreneurship and Innovation Management, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting, and a Mini-MBA. His professional credentials include CPA (Thailand), ASEAN CPA, ACMA (CIMA, UK), CGMA (AICPA), and specialized training in academia–industry collaboration and technology transfer, as well as the Innovative Teaching Scholars Program from Stanford University d.School.

Before entering academia, Dr. Krissada built over two decades of executive experience in major Thai corporations. He held senior leadership roles at Central Retail Corporation Plc., culminating in Vice President – Business Process Improvement, where he led cross-functional transformation initiatives, including financial systems, policies, and new business setups in Thailand and overseas. He also served as Corporate Tax Director at Minor Food Group Plc., and previously worked as an external auditor and consultant.

Beyond his academic role, he has been appointed as an independent director for a university holding company, an audit committee member, and a specialist advisor in national innovation and research commercialization initiatives. He has also contributed as an expert in IP management and valuation for capital market readiness projects and national-level professional accounting development programs.

Dr. Krissada is an active international speaker and consultant, delivering training on IP valuation, IP financing, commercialization strategy, and finance for innovators. He has worked with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as a regional IP valuation expert and contributed to multiple WIPO programs, including national IP valuation training in Thailand. His research has been published in international journals, with notable contributions on patent valuation challenges and practical valuation techniques within the Thailand context.
