Prof. Victor Lau is the Head of Venture Acceleration at ORKTS20, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong). He brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in microelectronics substrate research, development, and manufacturing.
His career spans the full innovation-to-industry spectrum, having held roles in R&D, quality assurance, new process engineering, senior management, and ultimately as a factory owner. This rare end-to-end experience gives him a deep understanding of how technologies are developed, scaled, and commercialized.
After returning to Hong Kong in 2011, Prof. Lau has been actively supporting technology transfer and venture development for local universities, helping bridge the gap between academic research and market-ready innovation.
