Ms. Ishani Chandra is the Managing Partner at Sagar Chandra & Associates and leads the firm’s Trade Mark and Patent practice. A graduate of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, she also holds a diploma in IP from the University of Washington School of Law, USA. With 22 years of experience, Ishani specializes in Trade Mark and Patent Litigation, Prosecution and Brand Strategy. She works with clients across various sectors like pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Alco-Bev, Arts, Fashion & Technology, advising them in Trade Mark, Copyright, Design, Domain Name, and Licensing matters. Ishani regularly represents clients before Indian Courts and IP offices, and advises on IP enforcement & commercialization, and emerging digital IP issues. Ishani is also serving as the Chair for the South Asia-India Subcommittee of the Non-Traditional Trade Marks Committee (INTA) for the 2026-27 term.
