Wiley has more than 16 years of experience in the valuation of companies, intangible assets, and financial instruments in Hong Kong, China and overseas for various purposes including financial reporting, strategic or transaction evaluation, financing support and expert support for court submission.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Wiley was the Director and Head of the Business and Financial Instrument Valuation practice in an international valuation firm with clients and appraisal subject industries span across private equity, securities, asset management, AI, fintech, bank, insurance, online payment, microfinance, biotechnology, healthcare, regulator, consumer product, software, real estate, property management, industrial, entertainment, gaming, education, licensing, marketing, media, catering, infrastructure, solar, water treatment, logistics.
 
Wiley is the Course Director of the Business Valuation Programme of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). He is also a member of HKICPA, non-practising Member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), a non-practising Member of the China Appraisal Society (CAS), an individual member of Asia Pacific Institute of Experts (APIEx), a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation holder issued by the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA), a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) by European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS), a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder issued by the IFRS Foundation.
