Sung-pil Hwang is a Patent and Trademark Attorney who has worked in the intellectual property field for nearly 20 years. He has extensive experience in patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, and litigation, assisting clients in South Korea and across the globe. Throughout his career, he has advised inventors, startups, and multinational corporations in designing and implementing IP strategies that align with their business models and international expansion goals. His practice is grounded in the belief that intellectual property should not only protect innovation but also serve as a foundation for sustainable growth.

Beyond his legal practice, Sung-pil Hwang is also active as a startup investor and consultant. To date, he has made early-stage investments in more than 30 companies, providing them with support in acceleration, incubation, and funding. He works closely with founders to ensure that their intellectual assets are strategically protected and effectively commercialized.
